Common questions

Does turning on Shop Mode affect what my household sees?

No. Shop Mode only changes how the list behaves on your own device, for as long as you have it turned on there. Nobody else's screen changes because you turned it on — your household still sees the list exactly as they normally would, fully editable on their end. Turning Shop Mode on before you head to the store, then off again once you're home, is a purely local setting that never affects how anyone else interacts with the same shared list at the same time. It's a per-device reading mode, not a household-wide state.

Can I still check things off in Shop Mode?
